You can begin your Reiki journey with a First Degree Reiki Course! Here, you will learn to administer hands-on energy healing. After completing First Degree Reiki, continue your Reiki journey with a Second Degree Reiki Course and delve into Distance Healing and Ancestral Healing. Following Second Degree Reiki, Reiki Students who are guided to deepen their Reiki practice are invited to join The Reiki Master Course. In The Reiki Master Course, you will learn to move larger patterns of energy using two powerful Reiki Master healing techniques. And for those Reiki Master Students who wish to develop their own Reiki Practice, our Reiki Master Practitioner Training Program is for you! The pre-requisite to join our Reiki Master Practitioner Training Program is The Reiki Master Course. The pre-requisite to enter our Reiki Master Teacher Program is either our Reiki Master Course or our Reiki Master Practitioner Training Program. In other words, you may move into the Reiki Teacher Training Program directly after the Reiki Master Course, or you can take the Reiki Master Practitioner Training Program first and then enter into the Reiki Master Teacher Training Program after that. We are alive because energy, or “ki” is flowing through us. Energy nourishes the organs and cells of our bodies, supporting them in their natural functions. When this life force energy is disrupted or distorted, or when there is too much energy or not enough energy, it can cause stress and sometimes dis-ease in one or more of the organs, tissues, body parts, or in any of the systems of the physical, emotional, social, mental, psychological or spiritual bodies. Reiki is the science, skill, and art of activating, redirecting, balancing, and applying natural universal life force energy into a person’s individual energy field, affecting all of these areas. The result is a raising of the vibrational frequency and with that higher vibration comes the potential to create and maintain better health, wholeness, and wellness on all levels.

There are many common benefits that receivers of Reiki often report after receiving a Reiki treatment, or after administering a Reiki self-treatment. These benefits include: noticeable relief of physical pain, emotional pain, stress, and overwhelm; increased feelings of peace, wellness and well-being, increase in energy on all levels, greater clarity, and an easing of acute and/or chronic health conditions. Reiki is known to treat the root cause of an imbalance and begin to dissolve the blocks at a very deep, core level.

Reiki is different than most other healing modalities in that it is transferred from a Reiki Master Teacher to a Reiki Student by way of an attunement. The Reiki attunement is a standardized energetic process that transfers Reiki energy to the student, and also connects the Reiki Student with the source of Reiki. The Reiki Student receives a Reiki attunement for each level of Reiki, which allows the student to channel that level of Reiki.

Reiki Shares are gatherings hosted by Reiki Teachers, either in-person or live online, as a way to offer ongoing support and practice to their Reiki Students. Reiki Shares offer Reiki Students an opportunity to practice Reiki in a safe and guided setting. Reiki Shares are a great place to meet other Reiki Healers in one’s community and around the world. Reiki Shares are also a great place to ask questions about Reiki or to share stories one may have about their Reiki Journey. Reiki Shares are offered by donation.

The symbol on our logo is the Japanese word for Reiki. It is written in kanji. Kanji are logographic characters used in the modern Japanese writing system, which were originally borrowed from Chinese characters. Each kanji character typically represents a word or a meaningful part of a word, and often has multiple pronunciations, depending on its context.

The word ‘Reiki’ was coined by its Founder, Master Mikao Usui, by merging two Kanji words: ‘rei’; and ’ki’. The word ‘Rei’ may be translated as meaning, ‘spiritual wisdom,’ or ‘universal’. Within the context of the word “Reiki,” the word ’rei’ may be interpreted as meaning ‘present everywhere’, ‘wise’, or ‘all knowing’. The word ‘ki’ is often translated as ‘life force energy,’ or simply, ‘energy’. This is the energy that animates and sustains all living things. By joining the meanings of these two Japanese Kanji words together, Reiki translates to mean, “spiritually guided life force energy,” “wise energy,” or “conscious energy”.

An integration time of 6 months is required after graduating from The Second Degree Reiki Course before entering into The Reiki Master Course. Reiki students are encouraged to spend this time integrating the Reiki teachings and symbols into their daily lives. Receiving attunements during Reiki courses can cause shifts in one’s energy system. This wait time allows the body, mind, emotions, and energy field to adjust to these changes gradually. It has been observed that rushing through levels without allowing for this adjustment period may overwhelm the student and interfere with their energetic balance. The wait time also acknowledges that personal and spiritual growth cannot be rushed. Reiki Students are also encouraged to memorize the three Second Degree Reiki symbols in preparation for The Reiki Master Course.

Once you graduate from the Reiki Master Practitioner Training Program, you may become a member of the Reiki School as a Reiki Master Practitioner. With this membership you will be part of our Reiki School of Energy Healing team! You will have access to an online portal where you can connect with other Reiki Practitioners from the school. You will have the option of having your picture and contact information on the Reiki School website under the “Reiki Practitioners” section. You will also have the option of being featured on our social media. You also have access to be a Helper in our Reiki Courses as a way to deepen your understanding of Reiki.

Once you graduate from your first Reiki Master Teacher Training Course, you may become a member of the Reiki School as a Reiki Teacher. With this membership you will be part of our Reiki School of Energy Healing team! You will have access to an online portal where you can connect with other Reiki Teachers from the school. You will have access to the slideshows, curriculum, manuals and classroom materials whenever you teach a Reiki Course. You will have the option of having your picture and contact information on the Reiki School website under the “Reiki Teachers” section.
